Flare: Social Sharing WordPress Plugin

In my opinion Flare is better than any other social sharing plugin available.  Allow me to share the basics of this plugin.

Flare Social Sharing Plugin

For the last few days I have been using Flare.  It is a FREE plugin for self-hosted WordPress users.

I personally think it looks awesome with 8-Bit Nerds.  I also have a dark theme on another blog and it also looks good on that.

Flare’s Features

There are several social buttons including Facebook, Twitter, Stumble Upon, Pinterest, Reddit, Google Plus, Linkedin, Buffer, Email.  The developers say there are more to come.

Change the order of appearance for each sharing tab.

Flare offers a floating bar that one can position on either the left or right side of the page.  Also, one can place sharing tabs at the top of the post.

An option to show total Flares (shares).

Flare’s Cons

No plugin is perfect and each has their own cons.

The developers say the floating sidebar works with most themes.  With the 3 blogs I am using it on, 2 of those are just fine.  On Japanese Ghost it is over lapping the page a bit.  This is my fault because I increased the width of my sidebar.  It would be nice to have an option to adjust how far the bar is from the page.

It would be nice to have the option to display the in post sharing tabs above the featured image so they appear at the top of the post.

I am satisfied with the sharing icons they offer but I am sure people want 100′s of options like one can get with Share This.
